Our news highlights cutting-edge faculty research, policy engagement that influences practice, media appearances, and the achievements of our vibrant community.

Events at the Ford School bring together policymakers, distinguished speakers, and the broader community for insightful discussions on the world’s most important challenges. In recent years, we have welcomed distinguished guests, including Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Secretary Hillary Clinton, FBI Director Christopher Wray, Secretary Condoleezza Rice, Secretary Jeh Johnson, and Secretary Antony Blinken, as well as Ambassador Susan Rice. Students take an active role, often leading the Q&A sessions that keep these events dynamic and engaging. View upcoming events.

Visiting policymakers

In addition to public events, visiting policymakers typically meet in small groups with students and faculty, going in depth on critical policy and political issues, or exploring and coaching for career development and leadership lessons.
